I only knew Michael for a short time. But in that brief time I came to know him as a very caring and good hearted man.

I didnt know Mike very long. But in the short time I knew him he reminded me a lot of my own big brother who was also named Mike. Bothe of them were very loving and caring individuals with hearts as big as the outdoors. He was a beautiful soul gone too soon.

Uncle Mike, Coming home to Texas and spending time with you has been fun. I am so greatful you and my boyfriend hit it off, he was worried because of the stories he heard about Uncle Mike and his nieces significant others, and seeing the two of you laughing in the living room made me happy. I am glad you aren't sick anymore. I have retired my chocolate pies and chicken n dumplins in remembrance of you. I love you Uncle Mike. Always. Matt and I will see you one day again.

Uncle Mike - I will always remember our story about me leaving my boyfriend in the car at your house. You were an overprotective uncle and i love you for it! Love, Sasha

That turkey you and Dano were to cook this year wasn't quite the same! Gary said some nice things before we ate about you and how you are missed and loved.
Still missing and loving you, daily.

I no longer live in the Golden Triangle area and just found out that Mike was taken by our Father. I knew Mike since our days at Edison Jr. High and from being married to his cousin Rebecca. He was always a good friend to me. The Lord needed him in Heaven to work for him there.

How I miss you, little did I realize how much you were apart of my life. You took great care of mother and all your children with a steady and constance persiverance of strenght. I now know how lucky to have you as a brother. The surf trips as kids or the golfing and fishing we did as we grew up. To many people forget the best things in life not us, you are part of my soul and what I have become. Thanks and I miss you so much it hurts. In the last years of your life I was glade to be there for you and wish I COULD OF DONE MORE. Your friends told me great stories about you and they all said how proud you were of me you caught me off gaurd with that one, I will tell great stories to your grand children how great you were. God bless you and give Mom and Dad a hug for me.

Michel- I have known you all of your life and you have always been a generous brother, a wonderful son, an awesome nephew and a great dad, also a super grandfather. You always were there for all of your siblings and they were always needing something from you. You are now with Little Chris and I hope you watch over him for me. His greatest memory was when he was with you in Florida. He never stopped talking about that trip. I love you and you are missed by everyone who's lives you touched. Aunt Cindy

It was an honor to be your Aunt while on this great land. But you have now moved up to the greatest land of all. You left this world with such grace and faith, I hope we all have learned a lesson by your example. I will miss you until I see you again. Love, Aunt Kathy

I didn't know Mike well, but knew him well enough to know that he was an honest man with a good heart. And, in my opinion, that is the very best legacy a man can leave behind. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. My daughters and I will miss him for his great sense of humor and positive outlook.

You will be dearly missed Mike and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. I'm happy we were at least able to connect after so many years. Lots of fun memories from the Jefferson apartments.

To all Mikes friends. I was with Mike when he passed on. He died in peace and like a man. His last thought was of joining Louie for a long motorcycle ride in the sky. Ride hard my friend, you are missed.
