Sue, Andy and Emily, I can't belive that Mike is no longer with us. I just recently found out about his death, and it seems so unreal.



We have known each other since way back in 1985 when I was brand new to TV and Mike was a new friend who helped me learn and gave me perspective on the industry. He had such a positive effect in my life and career, and I will never forget that. A wonderful man with so many facets, he will be missed by all.

I was saddened to hear of Mike's passing. You andyour family are in our thoughts. Grace and I will miss running in to Mike on our walks around the neighborhood.

Mike hired me at WPGH in 1992, my first 'real job' after college. As a transplant from MN there was a lot I needed to know about the 'burgh...and Mike was the one to ask. I couldn't have asked for a better boss at that time in my life. Charming, funny and easy going, this is how I remember Mike.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Emily, Andy and Suzie.

It was always good to see Mike at our restaurant with his close family and friends. God bless you all. Mike will be missed but I know for certain that he is in a better place now.

I was so sad to see that Mike had passed away. I saw his picture on the FOX 53 10:00 News last night. He didn't look any different than when we graduated from NH High in "72. I remember him as a great guy then and am sure he was also now, eventhough I have not seen him in many years. I did run into him once at the "Clarion River Lodge". He made me laugh, because he asked if the man I was with was my Dad....he was my husband!!!! (ex now!!!). He will be sadly missed as from the looks of all the notes in this book, was greatly loved. When we moved to Pittsburgh in 1992, Mike was among the first to make us feel welcome. Our family shared many great times with the entire Wolff family. Mike's passing, while a blessing for him, leaves us with an empty place at our "True Friends and Family" table. We will always remember the kindness he showed us and his incredible ability to laugh at himself. May God provide strength to the entire Wolff family. We truly feel we are better people for having known him.

I just read in an industry newsletter that Mike has passed away. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Mike as a very good competitor, but more importantly, as a man of integrity. He will be missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Wolff Family at this time of loss. I met Mike through the PRTC and he always had a smile on his face. He contributed greatly to the advertising industry in Pittsburgh.

Shirlie, Bob, and the entire Wolf Family...Please know that we share in your sorrow and mourn for your loss. I have been greatly blessed to know him all my 40 years and am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to share his love and friendship with my own children. My wife Marsha and I would like to send our condolences to Andy, Emily, Susan and the entire Wolff family. I met Mike through my wife approximately 15 years ago. Our mutual interests of hunting and the outdoors allowed us to become good friends over a very short time. His lively discussions with my wife Marsha about advertising and media and our hunting trips will be missed as will his wit and sense of humor. But most of all, we will miss his friendship.

I'll really miss seeeing Mike at Starbucks adnd Giant Eagle. I will always remember his positive, upbeat personality even in the face of adversity. Mike truly set an example for all of us. I will miss seeing and talking with him. My sympathies go out to his family.

Mike was an amazing friend to me and Georgie Lillian. He helped us to continue our connection to George Scott through his memories and help with our fund raising in George's memory. My deepest sympathies to Mike's entire family. We worked together at WPGH-TV years ago and I had seen him what seemed to be fairly recently at Starbucks and at church. I was saddened just this past Friday to hear he was quite ill again and even more so to learn he had passed away. He was an amazing soul and touched quite a few lives in his short time with us. We grew as close as any family could be, even though we had the townhouse walls between us. I still look out my window hoping to see him coming home.
