Michael Woods Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Averyle Woods, and his sister Pam.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Woods; his children, Keith Woods (Jenny), Tracy Woods, and Chad Woods (Maura); and his grandchildren, Ryne, Josh, Zane, and Sean.
Mike grew up in Wisconsin before moving to Los Angeles. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1958 and then graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1962.
After college, he moved back to Los Angeles, where he fell in love with his wife, Mary. They got married in 1963. He began working in residential real estate with Mary until he transitioned to commercial real estate in the 1980s.
He and Mary settled permanently in Northern Nevada in 2004. He spent most of his time cooking on the barbeque, and reading while enjoying the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains.
Mike thoroughly enjoyed everything Notre Dame, and in particular their football team. He also enjoyed golf, the Dodgers, and fly fishing. He will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City, Nevada, on Friday, November 7th, at 10 AM.
