Thank you for sharing your story, genuine and brave man. I could see the trauma in his eyes and understand as a combat veteran what it feels like and what evil feels like. May you rest in peace with Jesus and may all things be revealed to you. May your family be blessed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I related to Michael in that he loved the outdoors. I grew up on a large ranch & farm in Oklahoma where I barely remember being indoors. My dad started me out young with everything, which is how he was raised. Michael & I would've hit it off right away. Being very close in age is a plus because we grew up in the same era. I've hunted all my life, but after being seriously injured on deployment I had to retire out of the Army after 25 years. I've faced bear while hunting as well as mountain lion. I've faced the most dangerous animal of all, which is man. I've never faced a bigfoot, but I know those who have. Everyone said about the same thing. They were very scared even though their 30-06 would take one down, but as they put it it was like drawing down on something similar to a human. I can easily see why it would be hard to squeeze the trigger on something like that. I could feel the fear through his words & the apprehension to kill something he'd never witnesses before. My 30-06 took down a 1200 lb bear, so I have no doubt that his 270 would've taken the bigfoot down. It's just my opinion, but I do believe it was the shock & surprise that caught him off guard along with the fact that there were more of them. I hate that this encounter kept him from doing something he loved so much. I know that he's in the place that we're all wanting to be when it's our time. I pray God blesses & comforts all those who love & miss him. My thoughts & prayers are with his loved ones.

I just watched dear Mr Wooleys recollection of his Bigfoot encounter on Terror in the Woods. He was so honest and raw in this episode that when I seen the in memory of, my heart immediately felt such sadness for his wife and family. I knew the world lost a good person. My father passed in 2003 and he believed in Bigfoot. His CB radio call sign was Bigfoot and I was little foot. And this has always peeked my interest. I truly thank you so much for sharing your story with such heart. My sincerest condolences.

I just now saw an RIP posted. His account is amazing, and I hate I never got to meet him (having lived in LA) for a short time. I truly believe his account. My condolences to his family.

I am in SE LA and wanted to tell your family how much I appreciated his encounter story. Mine started in 1980 and there were many. We had a beautiful piece of land deep in the woods. It’s stories like his that provide understanding and some comfort. It is a very isolated feeling as there are so few that have had the experiences. Just watching him speak it’s clear that he was simply a good man. Part of his legacy will continue helping people cope for years to come.

Just saw his story about his encounter in the woods, so sorry about your loss with his passing, He seamed to be a very sincere man. I have never heard a story that rung so true, for I my self was run out of the woods also when I was young, I don't know what it was but I know it was real and Michaels story is the most real feeling story to what I know is real, I believe his story is true.

I also just saw Michaels Story of his Terrorizing Encounter in the Woods, what moved me was his sheer raw authentic telling and the look in his eyes and facial expressions as he relayed it. I could see how it changed him. My son who is 19 years of age is an Avid Hunter as well here in Kentucky. I plan on showing him Michaels story the next time he is home for a visit. Michael seemed like a Dear Man and Im truly sorry for your loss. Ive been with my Husband for 28 years in May of 2020 and I cannot even fathom your devastation and grief. I will say a prayer for you both. May Michaël Rest In True Peace with God and Jesus in the tranquility of Heaven.

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your loved one. In the short story, of him relating his dangerous encounter in the woods, I felt that he was a very kind man. I can see where it would be difficult to ever again be lighthearted, but I hope he did find peace in this life, as well as he has found it in his next life. God Bless all of you.
