I went to junior high with Mike. He was the nicest person I ever met and that's going back 50 years. Everyone always loved Mike in school and I can still see him smiling as he always did. We were in band together too.
I'm very sorry for your loss and it is no surprise to hear what an excellent father and husband he was. Have a peaceful holiday.

I remember Mike well in Flood. Mike was a terrific guy. Everyone really liked him a lot in school. Very sad to hear. It figures that he was an awesome dad.

Melissa, I´m so sorry for your immense loss! I chaperoned one of the trips with him that our kids went on together. I didn´t get to know him well, but from this beautiful write up on him, I can tell he was extra special! What a wonderful father and husband he was! I first met Mike at Eli Whitney, he was always a nice kid. We went to school thru Bunnell, then life throws you in different directions. Reading the kind words about Mike, he grew into a good man, like the young boy I remember. Ike´s family was his only matter, the storied and words surely support that, you all we´re lucky ti have lived and loved each other. We all grow to believe in that better place, I hope Mike has found it, and one day as he is duty his parents now, you will all be together one day. Rest in peace Mike, and my condolences to you all.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike at RBS for many years, and he was one of my favorite people there. He was smart, knowledgeable, and incredibly hard-working, but he was also one of the funniest and best humored people I've known. I will miss him.

Melissa, Tori and Olivia - words are terribly poor things at a time like this, but we wanted to express our sincere condolences on Mike's passing.
His "joie de la vie" was contagious and the glow on his face when he would talk of you all at poker games, or at Lowe's, or the train station or Shop Rite or Stop n Shop or on Pond Point Ave - basically- anywhere - was legendary! But you already likely know that as Mike never hid his smiles, but rather wore them like a well worn Yankees cap... all day, everyday - in all the years I don't think I ever saw him frown. ever.
May you all find healing and comfort within each other and know that we pray with you during this tough time.
