Michael Yasko

Michael "Mike" Yasko, 79, of Fallowfield Township, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at home with his wife and son by his side. Mike was born June 7, 1930, in Monessen, the son of the late Frank and Julia Labanich Yasko. Mike was Orthodox by faith. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He retired after 44 years with the U.S. Steel Plant in Allenport. He was a member of the 10th Street AC Club of Charleroi and the Charleroi Fishing Club. Mike loved fishing, gardening and traveling with his family. He was a wonderful husband and dad. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Constance Bandini; and son, Michael B. Yasko and his wife, Morgan, of Florida. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Frank Yasko.
