My father, Dom Valentino, considered Mike to be his best friend. Dad died in August of 2009 and I remember Mike was very sad about that. Prior to illness, age, and all the other annoyances that come with growing older, they shared just about every Friday morning together having breakfast for their "man time" and I know they thoroughly enjoyed one another. It was a great routine for them both. They both looked so forward to their Friday mornings. Mike always could get dad laughing, and vice versa. When I think of Mike, I remember him laughing and smiling. Mike also gave me my first job as a teenager, working for his acctng office. he was a great boss with the patience of a saint. Never saw him mad. Mike had a great personality, strong family values, and a heck of a sense of humor. I know that Mike and my dad are enjoying some good times in a restaurant booth somewhere in Heaven right now and that both men are 200% restored to their prime. Mike was an awesome man. A stellar husband and father, and an all around good guy. God bless Mary Ellen and the kids. Love, Paula and Mary Valentino
