Michele Kashner Bell

Michele Kashner Bell Oklahoma City - Michele Bell, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 1, 2023, after a battle with cancer. Michelle was born on January 16, 1950 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of the late Terrell and Mary (Wagner) Kashner. She was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and received her Master's Degree in Guidance & Counseling from Oklahoma City University. She was the Office Manager at HMS Corporation for over 30 years. Michele was kind and giving and deeply involved in her community. She served as a Stephen Minister at Crossings Community Church, visited rest homes with therapy dogs, and was always the first in line to help those in need. Her wit and humor were legendary; she brightened every room she was in with her laughter and smile. She adored little animals, especially her beloved dogs, cried at sad movies, and loved her friends deeply. She was a wonderful cook, hostess, and gardener and her family looked forward to her cheesecakes and cookies every holiday.

She was loving and caring and anchored in life by her faith in God. She leaves her family and friends with a lifetime of cherished memories. Above all, she was the love of her devoted husband's life, Danny Bell. Danny and Michele were inseparable and spent 45 loving years together in what Michele once described as heaven on earth.

Michele is survived by her husband Danny Bell and son William Bell (Michele); grandchildren Felecia Hinestrosa (Alexander), Francesca O'Keefe (Thomas) and Liam O'Keefe; four great grandchildren, Jordan Harmon, Mia O'Keefe, and Ethane & Liam Hinestrosa; and her brother Michael Kashner (Tanya).

A celebration of Michele's life will be held at a later date. Contributions in memory of Michele may be made to Oklahoma Museums Association, 2020 Remington Place, Oklahoma City, OK. 73111 or a charity of your choice.
