1945 - 2018
Michele M. Fitzgerald, 72, of Wheatland, Wis., passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Lakeland Nursing Center, Elkhorn, Wis.
She was born Dec. 19, 1945, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Floyd and Alice (Clark) Stowell, living in Trevor, Wis., and settling in Wheatland in 2003.
On August 3, 1967 she married Timothy Fitzgerald in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on June 24, 2005.
Before her retirement in 2003, Michele had worked for many years at Regal China, Antioch, Ill., Gander Mountain, Wilmot, Wis, and Pleasant Company, Wilmot, Wis. Michele enjoyed: reading, camping, crocheting, playing Bunko, searching for treasures on the Home Shopping Network, trips to the casino, her donuts and Diet Pepsi, and especially being with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Survivors include three children, Ann (Jeffrey) Beam of Wheatland, Wis., Kimberly Lloyd of Antioch, Tenn., and Michelle (James Kasovic) Carlson of Twin Lakes, Wis.; eight grandchildren: Alexander (Sarah), Ashley, Tyrus, Kristy (Kiran), Wesley, Curtis (Amber), Evelyn, and Molly; a great-grandchild: Brooklyn; siblings: Lorraine Owens of Burlington, Wis. and Robert (Sherry) Stowell of Island Lake, Ill.; and many friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Michele was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jodi, stepfather Henry Mellen, and siblings: George, Donald, Lawrence, and Joan, and step siblings: Frank and Bill.
Funeral Services will be held noon, Wednesday June 20, 2018, at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery, Salem Lakes, WI.
