Michele Jackson

Michele Marie Jackson, passed away on December 25, 2023, in Bullhead City, Arizona. She was born on July 16, 1961. Michele, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Michele is survived by her devoted husband, John Jackson, her loving children Elizabeth Smith and Jeff Derks, and her cherished grandchildren Noah Derks, Marie Smith, Madeline Smith, and Mitchel Smith. She is also survived by her mother, Ann Lombardo, her sister, Lisa Zaccaglin, and her niece and nephew, Bret Zaccaglin and Alexandria Duesing.

Michele was preceded in death by her father, Michel Lombardo, and her aunt, Marie Sofka.

Michele proudly served in the Air Force, where her dedication and commitment to duty were exemplary. Her military associations were an integral part of her life and shaped her into the remarkable person she became.

Following her military service, Michele embarked on a career as a Sgt at Riverside Police Department, where she served with honor and distinction from 1989 to 2013. Her dedication to protecting and serving her community was unwavering, and she made a lasting impact on those she encountered throughout her career.

A celebration of Michele's life will be held on February 15, 2024, at 11am at the American Legion on Dexter Ave in Riverside. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and colleagues to come together, share cherished memories, and pay tribute to a remarkable woman.

Michele's legacy of love, strength, and selflessness will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence.
