Michele McGovern Obituary
LAIRDSVILLE - Michele L. McGovern, 49, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2017.
Shelly was the daughter of James and Jean (Jennings) Warren and graduated from Westmoreland Central School. She was a nurse at the Presbyterian Home for 21 years.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her parents, James and Jean Warren; sister, Cynthia Rydzeski; her nephew, John; and niece, Jennifer.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services.
Arrangements by Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., Clinton.
Please consider donations in her memory to Stevens-Swan Humane Society or Disabled American Veterans.
Shelly was loved.

I miss my role model, my LPN my mother figure my everything. Shelly was everything to me and every single day I wish it could have been me instead of her. Why her? She was the BEST nurse a CNA could ask for. I'll NEVER forget you. I miss YOU and the animals very much. I wish I could just see you ONE last time and give you a huge hug. You had my back and I had yours. This just doesn't make sense to me. I don't get it. I hope you like the tattoo I got for you because it's my whole upper arm lol. Good good good soooo stupid Is exactly what it says along with Kevin the minion of course. I still think I LOVE minions more than you. REST IN PEACE beautiful.

Kevin I am so saddened to hear this. You were so blessed having her in your life. She was a beautiful person. So terribly sad and such a loss of a thoughtful and caring person.

Such a shock and a tremendous loss. Shelly shaped a lot of new nurses, and I was one. Eternally grateful to her and deeply saddened. Praying her family and friends will find comfort and peace.
