MICHELE BARBEAU MONFETTE
Spouse of the late Claude Monfette
passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at
Lac-des-Chats in the Laurentides, in
presence of her loving children : Claudine
(Paul Lvesque), Bernard (Teri Moroni),
Dominique and Michel and her
grandchildren Guillaume Paradis and
Gabriel Lvesque. She went back to her
beloved parents Lucile and Victor Barbeau
and her brother Francois. She leaves
behind her sisters Nicole Picard ans
Claudine Williams, her brother Pierre V.
Barbeau, her sister-in-law Nicole Bernier,
as well as many nephews, nieces and
faithful friends, in particular those
associated with the MILR of McGill. Many
thanks to doctor Andr Lapierre for his
professional and friendly care as well as to
the personnel of Hpital Maisonneuve-
Rosemont. A commemorating ceremony
will be held at the Eglise Sainte-Madeleine
dOutremont, 750 ave. Outremont, on
Thursday, July 21, at 11 a.m. The family will
meet friends and relatives at 10:30 a.m.

J'ai étudié avec Michèle à MILR. Sa connaissance de la littérature française et du monde littéraire a beaucoup aidé un Anglo comme moi à apprécier 'the other solitude'. We shall miss her beautiful smile and creative energy very much. Mes sincères condoléances.
