Michele Otto Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 20, 2025.
Michele Jean "Mickey" Otto (formerly Brazer, maiden name Williams) passed away suddenly on October 4, 2024, in Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 65. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Born to the late Edith and Arnold "Bill" Williams of Braintree, Michele was a devoted sister to Joyce Connolly and her husband James, and a cherished sibling to her brother Martin Williams. She was a loving mother to Amy Durette and her husband Kevin of Hanson; Christopher Brazer and his wife Stephanie of Whitman; and Timothy Brazer and his wife Meaghan of Pembroke. Michele's life was further enriched by her grandchildren-Dexter, Emerie, Penelope, Elliott, and Piper-each of whom brought her immense joy. She also lovingly remembered Cameron and Malachy, grandchildren who passed before her.

For over four decades, Mickey dedicated herself to the nursing profession as a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse. Her unwavering empathy and commitment to caregiving left a lasting impression on both patients and colleagues alike.

Mickey found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She had an enduring love for Dunkin French Vanilla Iced Coffees and expressed her creativity through crafting, knitting, and crocheting-always surrounded by an abundant supply of yarn ready for her next project. Her home was often shared with beloved feline companions who brought comfort and companionship through the years.

Family gatherings were central to Mickey's life. She treasured time spent with her nieces, nephews, and their children at cookouts and celebrations. Among them were her niece Stacy Wayland and nephews Jake, Joey, TJ, and Danny Williams-all of whom held special places in her heart.

Mickey's spirit was defined by generosity, warmth, and boundless love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

Sharp witted and quick to laugh, incredibly generous with her grandchildren and the ideal mother-in-law. Michele´s absence has been felt at all family events since her passing. What a loss for us, what a gain for Heaven.

May you rest in eternal peace, wrapping your loving arms around your beloved Cameron and Malachy, while shining your heavenly light down upon your grandchildren, family and friends you left behind.

You´ve been sorely missed the last seven months but your memory lives on. Rest peacefully-you are deeply and forever loved. Penelope and Elliott will carry you with them always.
