Dear Bob, Our thoughts are with you and your family. Michele was a wonderful and brave lady. Jim worked with her on the Addenbrookes Charitable Trust where she made an enormous contribution over a number of years. We will miss her. Jim and Hilary Potter

Those of us who knew Michelle and were fortunate enough to be regarded as her friend are a great deal poorer to be deprived of this remarkable lady. Ever cheerful, never complaining and full of fun and adventure right up to the end when sailing in the Ionian last month. Now, alas, we will never know if she eventually mastered the knack of tying a "bowline".

At Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, we are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden loss of Michele, a long-standing supporter of Addenbrooke's Hospital. Her dedication to the Friends of Addenbrooke's volunteer fundraising group over many years has been an inspiration. Her legacy will be felt by patients for years to come, thanks to improved services and equipment that she helped to fund.
