Michelle Bailey Obituary
WORCESTER - Michelle L. Bailey, 53, died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at UMass Memorial Medical Center after an illness.
She was born in Worcester and graduated from Burncoat Senior High School. Prior to her illness, Michelle worked for Worcester Insurance Company. Michelle was a genuine kind hearted person who was loved by all. She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, daughter, Mimi, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
Michelle will be dearly missed by her children; Malik and Shayla Bailey of Worcester and she was a loving "Mimi" to three beautiful grandchildren, Xavian, Nyasia and Kareem. She is also survived by her mother, Joan Linda (Price) Bailey of Worcester, her father Paul Bailey and step-mother, Carmen (Rosado) Bailey, both of Spencer; six siblings, Michael Bailey, Christine Massenburg and husband James and Robert Bailey all of Worcester, Jeffrey Bailey and wife Terri of SC, Luis Morales of CA and Annmarie Bailey of Spencer, aunts, uncles and many nephews and nieces.
Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, Michelle's family has chosen to hold funeral services and burial privately.

To the Bailey family I am so sorry. Michelle was a beautiful loving friend since I was a little girl. Although I live in North Carolina we still stayed in touched for years. Michelle and I would stay on the phone for hours, talking and laughing with each other every day. We would reminisce about our fun childhood memories on North Street and life in general. Michelle was a kind spirited woman with a loving heart and she cared about everyone. I miss her already. It will be hard not seeing her name coming through my phone and hearing her say , "That Laurie is something else" as we would be laughing up something. She kept me in tears laughing. My heart hurts because I will not be able to talk to my friend any longer but I am happy she is in a better place in heaven celebrating with the rest of her family members. She spoke of her grandmother so much and missed her dearly, now she is rejoicing with her and I am happy about that. Ms. Linda, I shall keep you and the family in my prayers and I know God is with you all. Michelle knew what she had to do to get better and she participated without complaint, although she was tired she was full of hope. I'm gonna miss My Friend. I pray that you are comforted during these times of grief and sorrow. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." The Good News: God will never abandon us during our times of grief he will always provide us with love and hope. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Lean on God and allow Him to continue the process of healing your broken heart. God bless us all.
