My heart goes out to you at this first anniversary of Michelle's passing. A year has gone by, but it really doesn't get much easier. Death is such a horrible thing that leaves everyone behind hurting so much. The first birthday, Christmas and all holidays are so hard as you love her so much. Michelle was such a wonderful person, so full of energy and love. We all miss her very much, she will be in our hearts forever. My love to you all.

Our hearts goes out to Michelle's family at a life cut so short. Michelle and my daughter Samantha grew up together and were close friends over the years. I remember the year that Samantha and Michelle went camping with me at Mabel Lake. We had such a grand time and Michelle's laugh was so infectious that she made us both laugh until our bellies hurt. She was such a wonderful person that we both adored. I know that Samantha simply adored Michelle and will miss her terribly. We will both miss her greatly "An Irish tribute" May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. We are shocked and saddened to hear of Michelle's death. We got to know Michelle (as well as Jim and Joan) when she played year after year on the same soccer team as our daughter, Kaia Hookenson. Kaia (now in Victoria) comments "Besides being really good at soccer, Michelle was really funny and always the person I wanted to hang out with." We remember Michelle as a wonderful young woman and our thoughts are with Jim, Joan and family at this time.

Although I only knew Michelle for a short time, she made an instant impression, and earned a place in my heart forever. While only half my age, she taught me more about how to... live life to the fullest, treat all others with respect and kindness, and how to be a true friend... than she will ever know or would have believed. Quite simply she was a true Angel, put on this earth for a far too short amount of time.. and the World, and my life is a much lesser place without her apart of it.. no matter how small a part. Will miss you greatly Michelle, and I hope I can someday live up to the very lofty example you set.
