Michelle Chidester Tate

My condolences to the Chidester family. Michelle and I were friends while attending East Coast Bible College. She was a sweet person at heart . And my hopes were to marry her at that time in the late 1980s. I have found memories of our many conversations about life. Our pursuits took different paths eventually. And time passed . only recently found out of her passing. I am sure to meet Michelle again in that Great Reunion. Sincerely Neal Waldschlager

It has been a year without the physical presence of our dear sister and friend. I light this candle because she lives on in our hearts and lives and we press on to the day when we will see and talk to her again. Her light will never go out. We can only imagine the joys that she is sharing with other loved ones who are with her and our Lord in heaven. We will always celebrate your life my precious friend.

Just informed of your passing and shocked.... May God be with the entire family during this and many difficult days ahead. I knew Michelle during her teen years when Harvest church started in a small house in Charlotte. Kind and considerate she was to all and her love for music was indeed a great passion for God. We all could learn from her example and I'm sure her families' example as well. Miss you all Ed and Joann.

Michelle was there for me through some really difficult seasons and I will be forever grateful. My thoughts and prayers are with Gary, Joanna, Michael, and the huge extended / church family.

I'll never forget that sunny day when The Chidester's moved into my neighborhood. I sat in the ditch down the road a little ways, watching & hoping that they would have a little girl that I could be friends with. My wishes came true when I saw that little blonde haired girl. I was so completely overjoyed! We had so much fun on Sloan Drive She was my buddy and I have many cherished memories from those days...making mudpies under the big Magnolia tree, the night that we saw hundreds of tiny mysterious lights blinking in the sky, ..& that Tony Orlando & Dawn concert.
~~My Dear childhood friend, although we had lost touch with one another, whenever I thought of you it always made me smile. You brought a lot of joy to my life when we were growing up. It hurt my heart terribly to hear of your passing. Your big blue eyes and beautiful smile will forever have a place in my heart!~~~
I know that God himself was completely overjoyed to see that beautiful blonde haired lady moving into his neighborhood! Our loss is truly his gain!

Prayers for the Family

I first met Mrs. Tate three months ago and although I did not have the pleasure of knowing her very long, I knew from meeting her that she was a Christian. The light of Christ truly shined forth in her. She is where the rest of us Christians are aiming to be and that is with the Lord. She made it home. My sincere prayers are with her family.

So very sorry for your loss. She's now singing in Heaven.

So sorry to hear the passing of Michelle. I am so glad we had the opportunity to know and be friends with her and all her family. She was such a joy to be around. Her love for the Lord and her family were always very much evident. Though we will miss Michelle greatly, we know that one day soon, the Lord Jesus will come to take His bride to Heaven with Him and we will see her again. We pray for all the family to be comforted at their loss and that the Lord strengthen them in the days to come.

I am so sorry for the loss of the most spiritual woman I knew! Michelle was a bright light for Jesus and her memory will live forever! Just knowing she is with the Father is a comfort! Praying for you all!

We are sad to hear the passing of Michelle. I did not know her personally however I remember the first time hearing her sing. I was looking all over to see where the voice came from. The sound of her singing lifted my spirits right away. The Lord gave her a beautiful gift and she shared it with us. We love you Michelle and we will see you when The Lord calls us home.

She has always been a perfect example of a Godly woman! I have such fond memories of the many times we sang together in church and other events! I miss those times but have great memories of them and won't forget them! She always had a way of lighting up a room with her smile! You will truly be missed and loved dearly!! I am so sorry to hear of Michelle's passing. I can honestly say that I can not think of another family that has a greater spiritual impact on my life than the Chidesters. I have known them for over 30 years and I love each and every one of them dearly. My prayers have been and will continue to be with you all. May God fill you with the peace that passes understanding and the joy of The Lord, which is your strength.

I can still see your beautiful smile when we smiled at each other the last time I saw Michelle at church. I love her whole family. They have been such a blessing.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I've known Michelle for many years and even over time when I didn't see her the times I did she always made me feel welcome and always gave me a hug. I'm sure with her beautiful voice she's singing in the choir of Angels in Heaven. Michelle was my dear sister in The Lord and friend. We shared many years of praying in agreement together, singing for the glory of The Lord, laughing and crying together. There will never be another like her and I will miss her sweet smile and voice. I am sure she is happier than she could ever be here on earth. Although I have not seen Michelle in quite sometime, her voice never left my heart. Heaven not only gained an angel, but an angel with an amazing voice.
