Aunt Vetty's passing saddened our whole family. Our prayers are with Yvette and her family. When someone so loving and caring passes through the veil, that love and compassion doesn't end... Instead, we now know one of the angels in heaven who will be watching over us. None of us will forget Vetty! She will live on in our memories and our hearts. She became 'adopted' by all our family as she could comfort and cheer anyone at anytime. We're so gratefull that this living angel came into our lives and comforted our parents in their last decade of life! Imagine the reunion Vetty, Faye and Reed had together. She continues to bring joy wherever Aunt Vetty goes! Our condolences and prayers. Because He lived, we too shall live. Because He lived we will all have a brighter day when He will wipe away our tears. He hears our cries and speaks peace to our souls. The Marty and Linda Garff Family

Dear Yvette and Her Beloved Family,
I have had a flood of memories recalling the almost ten years that you loved and cared for my parents, Reed and Faye Garff. My heart has felt so very many emotions remembering us laughing and crying and scheming how we could make all the many loose ends come together.
I loved how Faye looked forward to your arriving each day. Only our "Vetty" could dress Faye in one of her lovely outfits and wisk her out the door and take her to get her hair and nails done every week. It was then that we all saw that Yvette truly understood Faye and what brought her great happiness.
It was amazing how Yvette "sweet talked" Reed into eating his dinners by telling him that I (Kriss) had worked very hard in preparing what I knew he would love to eat. At night, before Reed and Faye would go to sleep, Yvette would say, " Reed, are you going to sing,'Let Me Call You Sweetheart?' or "My Wild Irish Rose?'" Then Reed would say, "OK. Are you ready Faye?" Then Faye would smile and drift off to sleep. Yvette"s loving rituals were born from her loving, kind heart and soul.
People may think that Faye had only one daughter. However, anyone who knew Faye well, could easily see that she loved Yvette with all her heart as her daughter. Reed loved her too. Everyone knew that our Vetty had a rare ability to give God's love to those who needed it most.
We will all miss your infectious laugh. Your endearing blue eyes. The stories about your beloved sisters, niece and nephew and all of your family members past and present.
Thank you for being you!
We will always love you.

'Vetty' was such a special person! We have been so sad this week thinking about how much we will miss her. She truly knew how to love unconditionally and we are forever grateful for her example of kindness.

Vetty--I wish we were planning your birthday dinner and that I could have one of your sweet hugs and hear your great laugh.

Love,
Stacy, Alex, Nate and Elyse Clifford
