Mickey Kabran Obituary
February 9, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Merritt Island in
1972 where he lived the rest of his life.
Mickey was married to his devoted wife, Joan Kabran for over 50 years.
Mickey was the father of four children; Richie, Michael, John and Traci, and
a grandfather to two - Richie and Christina. Mickey was a loving father, husband,
grandfather and a friend to all.
He served in the U.S Air Force as a Sergeant from 1962 to 1966.
He was the owner of Kabran Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. in Cocoa Beach, for over
30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. Mickey loved working
with his hands and was extremely talented with his mechanical abilities and
common sense approach to all of life's challenges. He loved coming to work every
day and working on his business. He loved learning, teaching others, and sharing
his knowledge with the community. His passion for hard work and commitment
is reflected in all of his acomplishments.
Mickey enjoyed the simple things in life; an every Saturday night trip to
the local movie theater with his wife; keeping up with all of the hot topics in
the news, and following their favorite sitcoms and enjoying his wife's home-made
cooking as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren. He
enjoyed an occasional cruise on his motorcycle, googling the internet for all
of the best deals for anything and everything, and just living every minute of his
life to the fullest.
He was generous to his family and gave of himself to so many over the years,
far too numerous to count. He was loved by many, he left an impact on many
lives, and he will not be soon forgotten.
Calling hours will be from 12:30 to 1:00pm, on Saturday, February 15th,
followed by a Memorial Service at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home,
5475 N.US. Highway #1, Cocoa, Fl.

I just found out today Mickey has passed. I am sad to know of this news and so late, I would have wanted to be at the funeral to say goodbye. He was a great guy and my deepest sympathy to the family. My late husband Dan, knew Mickey for years and thought a lot of him, and respected him as a friend and in business. I'm sure they are hanging out together in the halls of Heaven. May he rest in peace.....

Mickey, you were the best person to be around. You always had the biggest smile on your face. Right now is one of the times I need you most. I cant even explain how much I miss you. I used to always come with Christina, and we would come and go in the river, and go swimming. Sometimes I even just call your phone just to hear voice. I miss you so much. I love you.

I never saw you without a smile, never heard you say anything negative, always so kind, madly in love with Joanie and your family. Mickey you will be missed by so many! Your smile lit up a room! Your old school values and straightforwardness were refreshing!!! Over the years I have counted on Mickey for all my air-conditioning needs and he has always been there whether it was a weekday, weekend or holiday. He made sure my tenants were always happy.
