My Deepest condolences to the Escalera family. He was a kind, gentle man always with a smile. Visiting Isabelle's with my mom he was so nice. Thank you for your service to our town and country.

Mike was a true gentle man. Always had a smile on. He helped so many people and I had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.

As a 37-year resident of Clinton, I remember well Mr. Escalera's many years of service to our community.
I offer prayers of gratitude for his life and comfort for those he leaves behind.

Our prayers to your family . Your Dad was such a giving man, and gave many hours to the veterans in the community. I read his obituary to my Dad, and we both recalled the countless parades your Dad marched in, as well as the many home visits he did on behalf of the soldiers, sailors and marines fund.

I'm deeply saddened by Uncle Mike's passing. I feel very privileged and blessed to have had an uncle who was so loving, caring, and kind. I will always remember and treasure the wonderful memories I have of him. May God give him eternal rest and peace with his wife, Isabel, by his side. Mike's family, friends and the Clinton community as a whole has lost a dedicated public servant and good neighbor. I will have to join others in hanging out the American flag for which he served so many years. We'll miss you, Mike.

Mr Escalera or Mike to my father, profoundly helped my family when my Dad had his stroke in the 60's, he worked tirelessly to help Mom get Dad into the VA hospital and into rehabilitation, My sincerest condolences to his family he was a role model for all, we were privileged to know him.
