Miguel Guzman

So sad to hear of the passing of Miguel. What a big personality this man had. Miguel made his presence known and will be truly missed. What a big loss this is. He was the life of the party and will not be forgotten. Goodbye dear friend .

When I first met Miguel in Hockanum school, he was a bit intimidating, a big burly fellow. But after getting to know him, he turned out to be a great person. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him...

Ahhh Miguel....so many fond memories that take me all the way back to Hockanum school :) you always made me smile...
Life sends us down different paths..but eventually we all be at recess together again....with eyes wide shut..your a lad of ten...
Through the smile you bestowed on so many you will shine on.

Michael (Miguel) I just wanted to say it was an honor being your brother and a priviledge growing up under your wings. You taught me so much about life, good and bad. We've gone through some rough times together and prevailed through life's storms. You protected me until I was able to go out on my own in this world we live in. We had so many wonderful times growing up that I just can't pin point the one that stands out the most. We also had so many conversations that brought laughter and tears through out the years. That also continued as we got older. Thanks for all the advice you've given me. That promise I've made to you years ago still stands to this day and forever. I want to say "I Love You" and cannot express how much I will "Miss You". You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. We will still have our weekly conversations. I know you'll be watching over me from above. Rest in Peace!

During your time of sorrow, bring your family together and not pull it apart. Realize that each person is different and will grieve in ways you may not understand. Be patient and find ways to support each other. Guilt and anger need to be expressed and released. Sadness and sorrow can be so heavy and paralyzing. You might struggle with this thought, but grief, guilt, and anguish can be a blessing.

As I sit here and think of what to write images go through my mind. Old times, good times, bad times and all the times in between. Little moments that now feel so huge. A hug, a joke, a laugh. Things that will never come to be again. There will never be another pops. You were an amazingly funny, kind man. Thank you for being a part of my life and accepting me in your family so easily.
