Miguel Perez Orozco, known affectionately as Migelito, passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 20 in Coatesville, PA. Born on January 4, 2004, in Quetzaltenango San Martin Sacatepequez, Migelito moved to the United States at 15 to provide a better life for his family.

Migelito graduated from Henderson High School and earned a degree in carpentry from the Technical College High School, Brandywine Campus. He worked as a carpenter and was proud of his ability to build and create with his hands. His love for carpentry was matched by his passion for soccer, particularly for the Real Madrid team! Migelito was known for his hardworking nature, early mornings, and readiness to lend a helping hand. His smile and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Migelito is survived by his father, Miguel Pérez Vásquez; mother, Maria Orozco Pérez; brothers, Juan Pérez Orozco, Juan Eduardo Pérez Orozco, Francisco Faustino Pérez Orozco; and sister, Juana Pérez Orozco. He also leaves behind many uncles, cousins, and his adopted family, the Waymans. He was preceded in death by a little sister.

Services to celebrate Migelito's life will be held at Providence Church in West Chester, PA, on Thursday, July 25. Viewing will begin at 4 pm, followed by a service to remember Miguel at 5 pm. Guests are invited to stay and join the families for a reception to follow.
