A letter TO A ANGEL
I MEET YOU AND I GOT TO HANG OUT WITH YOU. I WISH I COULD HAVE KEPT YOU FROM SPEADING YOUR LITTLE WINGS SO FAST I KNEW YOU HAD THEM I MAY HAVE TAKEN THEM FOR ADVATANGE OR MAYBE I DID NOT WANT TO BELIVE YOU HAD THEM WeLL NOW I KNOW. MAYBE I DID NOT WANT TO SEE THEM. I KNOW YOU WILL ALWAYS LOOK OVER US AND IT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TIME TO GO BUT WHEN THE TIME CAME I KNOW YOU SPREADED THOSE WINGS JUST LIKE THE ANGEL I KNEW YOU WERE

My My Ki’ Moments
My My Ki’ moments are priceless . . .
Like the smile on her face, with her warm and cozy greeting.
The t-shirt we both owned, that I “. . . . better not wear on the same day!”
A young girl with so much compassion for other, and
Our young lady, who stood on the stage in front of city council, to support teen programs. I am most proud of this moment in her life, it is a moment that gives me much, joy. I remember during the rehearsal, when Mi Ki’ spoke out of turn on a topic. I do not remember the subject, but I do remember agreeing with her stance, however that thought was interrupted by her comment to apologize for speaking out of turn, “Oh. . . , that’s an outburst! Sorry.” It was that moment of growth that touched me most. It is those moment of growth and development in young people that keeps me doing the work I do. I was even more proud when I saw her on stage with other teens, standing up and speaking out, in support of the positive role models and programs in her community center.
To My Ki’ and her family, I want to thank you for being such a blessing on my life, thank you for allowing your child to attend our programs, thank you for blessing us with her lovely soul. I want you to know, your memory will drive my fight . . . To stand up, look for answers, fight for solutions, and speak out for change.
