On Tuesday January 5, 2021 Mike Pinkham passed away at the age of 71 in Grand Junction, Colorado from Covid.
Mike was born and raised in Santa Cruz and graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1967.
He worked for many years in Santa Cruz as a mechanic and service writer for several local dealerships.
Mike's passion in life was hunting, and his dream came true when he moved to the Elk Hunting capital of the World Craig, Colorado in 2006. He loved Colorado, even the snow.
His other great passion was bowling where he met and maintained many friendships over the years in Santa Cruz and Craig. He taught bowling to the Craig Youth Bowling League.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Ernie and Pauline Pinkham.
He is survived by his companion of 10+ years, Sherry Hampton, his sister Sandy Eaton and her spouse John and his brother Ron Pinkham and his spouse Susan. He is also survived by his 3 sons, Robert, Ken and Paul and their spouses, 4 grandchildren and Sherry's sons and grandchildren, his niece Jennifer Gutierrez and nephew Ryan Pinkham, and also by a very special cousin JoAnn Perkins and her family.
In honor of Mike please wear a mask, wash your hands, social distance and get a vaccine.

I have known Mike for so many years, he worked on my Mom's car when he owned the station at 41st ave & Gross Rd, then we started to bowl together, always called him Mickie, never Mike, he even took care of me when he started to work at the Dealership he worked at until it closed, I have been able to kind of keep contact him on Face book on his Birthday & seeing him with his Grandchildren. One of our Family Bowlers posted a picture of Mickie & three of his team members on face book, His name is Dan Cooper, hope you can see it, it's a great picture. My thoughts & prayers to all of the Family, I loved this guy.
