Mike Wheeler

My deepest condolences to the entire family! I was friends with Mike when we were back working at Dierbergs in our high school days. He was a very nice man and I was sad to hear about the suffering he was going thru with his cancer updates he had been posting. I am sure he is in heaven and his suffering is over.

I’m so sorry for this terrible loss—to Mike’s entire family, his dear parents, wife Casey and beloved children who I know he adored, we send our love, prayers and strength.

Mike Wheeler was a terrific guy and I am shocked that he has passed. I have happy memories of him during our time at Mizzou in Delta Tau Delta fraternity. I will pray for his family and close friends. Rest in Peace Mike.

Dear Casey, Sophia and Tucker, may all the good memories you have with him, help you through this sorrow, and bless you with peace in your heart.

Mike's courage in fighting so hard for the past three years is nothing short of amazing. We send our love to you all and hope you know we're keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. May you find some measure of peace and comfort in your wonderful memories of Mike.

Mike was an amazing young man. Smart, hard working, great father, and funny. Our hearts are breaking for Don and Gayle and Casey.

Thank you to everyone for all the loving words about Mike and support. These last three years for Mike, Sofia, Tucker and I have been the most challenging of times. To all the family and friends who stood by our side, did not abandon us and dropped everything to help navigate this horrific journey, I will never forget your gestures and how you all gave me the strength to keep going for our family.

The Wheelers are dear family friends and our hearts are so saddened by Michael’s difficult challenge and his passing. We became lifelong friends when Michael was in first grade and enjoyed his impish, fun loving personality which became a lifelong trait. Our families shared ski trips, Thanksgiving dinners, weddings, and many adventures at the Lake, even becoming next door neighbors there. Eventually, our grandchildren were sharing Lake dinners and adventures. Our love, support prayers, and sympathy are with you. ❤

Wheels you’ll be missed by so many. Your witty self..one of the funniest I’ve ever met. We roomed at Mizzou, were pledge brothers and even went to the same high school. You were awesome at fantasy football. You fought for years so you could be a good dad to your kids. I will always miss our long phone conversations about life. I will pray for Casey and your kids. So thankful you came to Nashville in July 2021. Love you brother.

Mike was larger than life. He impacted all those around him and he was an amazing friend and brilliant mind. Above all Mike was simply the best dad and husband to his beautiful family.
