to my friend barbara
there are no words that can encompass the loss you must feel...i did not know milan that well. but what i did know about this man that he was fiercely proud of his family (especially barbara), his children and grandchildren and his homeland. he walked tall and
with purpose up and down wigan drive and always had a kind word for folks meeting him. i always wish i could have found more to discuss with him but what i came to
realise is that a little is 'more than enough' when talking to a person like milan. he was a quiet confident man who shared what he cared to and upon reflection it was ample. i envied his vision and his courage in facing what transpired into his end...he never gave up hope. i remember the last words he spoke to me, "i feel better today than i did yesterday"...rest in peace my friend..jg

Dear Barbara and family
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Milan. Having seen him for many years coming to my office for Chiropractic care, I go to know him quite well and appreciated him as a great person. I will miss seeing him.
I pray that God gives each of you the strength and grace needed in the days ahead.

Our community, Parkwood Hills, has lost a great man. I saw and learned by his example that he was a great partner, father, neighbor and friend.
As my father, Rusty, He and his family came to Canada so that his family would have a better life and the children he was so proud of would have greater opportunities. Milan did not just take but he gave back and was very thankful. With his engineering talents and experience - he had a critical role in much of Ottawa's infrastructure we take for granted.
From my family (Nickola, Cassandra & Andrew) to Barbara, Beatrice, Bruno, Vesna, Sasa and your families, my heartfelt condolences. Please take comfort in the wonderful example of rallying together, Supporting your partner / father and filling the remaining earthly days that he had with nothing but found memories - may you find comfort in that example you have set.
