Mildred Burd Obituary
She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Trinity Lutheran Kitchen Ladies, and the Trinity Senior Citizens. Mildred had also been a past den mother for Cub Scouts and a member of the Derry Area Band Parents.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William, George and Wayne Wineland.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harmon "Ham" Burd; a son, Gene and wife Theresa, Latrobe; a daughter, Darla Irvin and husband David, Derry; a brother, Harry Wineland and wife Wanda, Latrobe; a sister-in-law, Lois Wineland, Derry; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends were received in the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., Latrobe. Funeral services were held Friday in Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment in Unity Cemetery.
