Bruce, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was always very sweet to us "neighborhood" kids. I hope you are well and that your memories are a comfort to you in this time.

Bruce,
We had a class together in our Sophmore year at EFHS. I was viewing Dave Lillies guest book entries and saw your message. I am sorry you have lost your mother and best friend. Just reading about her, and seeing what friends had to say about her in their messages to you, I was moved. This is a difficult time for you. I too have lost both parents, as well as my brothers. Your mother will always be with you, you will catch a glimpse of her in yourself and your children every now and then. You will always miss her, but her warm spirit will make you smile and keep you going. She sounded like a very special person, one that has left her mark on many. My prayers are with you. Take care.

Your mother was a delightful lady with a great sense of humor. I had the privilege of playing bridge with her for a number of years in the Lanier Ladies Bridge Club. She will be missed by her many bridge friends.

Dear Bruce and family,

I am very sorry to hear of your great loss. The passing of one's parents leaves such a void. Take joy in your wonderful memories, treasure them, and share them often with your children. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Bruce, I was saddened to learn of the
passing of your mother. I am sure you can find comfort in the fact that both your mom and dad were wonderful people that raised their son into a true gentleman, a feat not easily accomplished. My own father used to remark of his respect for your parents. Both of my parents are gone so I know what a difficult time this is for you. I hope you know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Your friend from back home, Sam Farrah

I knew your mother when we lived in Fairmont, where we both lived on Marion Street. She tried to teach my friend and me how to play bridge. We were not good bridge players.
Also, my sister, Carol Clevenger, had worked for your parents at Beverly Hills.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
