Mildred Ann Coots Gannon, 86, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Missouri. Visitation will be Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 2-5 PM at Baldwin Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Monday at Oak Forest Baptist Church, 2875 Oak Forest Drive, Jackson, MS. Interment will be at 10AM Saturday April 27, 2013 in Bagdad, Kentucky.
Mrs. Gannon was the life-loving daughter of the late Edwin Wesley and Louellen Thompson Coots; dear wife of the late Charles Columbus Gannon; cherished mother of Charles Edwin (Mary Ann) Gannon, F. Wesley (Margaret) Gannon, Dorothy Maye Gannon (Jeanette Mott Oxford), and the late Roger De Haven Gannon; fun grandmother of Dorothy Gail Gannon (Dave) Hood, Michael DeHaven (Angie) Gannon, Angela Nicole Gannon, Sarah Joy Gannon, Eric Philip (Hillary) Gannon, Anthony Wayne (Kim) Gannon; gentle great-grandmother of Justin and Hannah Hood, and Amber and Trinity Gannon.
Memorials may be made to Oak Forest Baptist Church; Epiphany United Church of Christ (St. Louis, MO,); or, First Nations Development Institute, 351 Coffman St., Suite 200, Longmont, CO 80501.

MRS. Mildred was always so full of joy and it is hard to imagine she is gone. What an encourager she was and her newsy letters make you feel you were right with her. We are praying for her sweet family. You were blessed and so were all or us who were her friends.
