Mildred E. Irby, aged 95, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024, surrounded by family members at her home in Andover, CT. She was born on October 28, 1929, in New Jersey to George and Mary Callahan. She went to Memorial High school in West New York, NJ and worked at K+E in Hoboken, NJ. She married Grover Irby on December 30, 1950. She worked for 20 years at US Electrical Motors. Mildred loved to be surrounded by her large family. She is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and four grand dogs.

I worked with Mildred at U.S. Motors in the regional sales office many years ago. She was intelligent, funny, and had more common sense than anyone I´d ever known. We had great conversations and I truly liked her. My condolences go out to her loving family. May she Rest In Peace. Maureen Moore
