May you find peace in the Lord during this time of great loss. In my first years of teaching at Hidenwood Elementary, Mildred served as principal. She was very supportive. I am so sorry that I did not get to see her in recent years but will treasure the memories I have of her. God Bless You!

Dena/Earl, To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I will truly miss Mildred Manning and especially the way she called my name "Cupcake". Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the family. Love you...

Dear Dena & Earl,

I was so shocked to hear of the passing of your mother and my aunt Mildred. I will always remember the way she greeted me with such excitment, by yelling my full name. I would always laugh. I loved the way she would smile and bat her eyes at the same time. And 2 weeks ago when I saw her last she was still smiling and batting her eyes at me. We have so many lovely memories of her, and she will live on in our hearts forever. Aunt Mildred, I love you and you will be truly missed.

Mrs. Manning cared about others without reservations. One did not have to quest about her thoughts, because she made them clear to all. She has been a positive influence in the lives of so many people who had the priveledge of knowing her. Yet, she knew that one day the master of her soul would come to set her free.

Always remember there is no love like a mother's love. Although she is no longer with you, may her love and spirit be with you today and always. At this very difficult time in your lives may you find strength in God's word and peace in knowing that she is resting peacfully in God's arms. Be blessed and may God continue to bless you both. Dear Mildreds'Family: I am so sorry to hear about the death of our beloved classmate. We really respected her company and enjoyed her spirit. It was a joy to be with her after a period of 62 years for some of us. She was indeed, a dynamic person. Now she has gone to live with God. Be encouraged and remember all the good that she did and we will too. Never will we forget our wonderful friend and classmate. PHENIX CLASS of '54'. Jannie TO GOD BE THE GLORY
