Mildred Pratt Obituary

Mildred Pratt, 90, of Aledo, Ill., died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at Mercer County Nursing Home, Aledo.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at College Avenue Presbyterian Church, Aledo. Burial will be in Aledo.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the church or the Mercer County Nursing Home van.
Mildred Williams was born Feb. 20, 1913, at Perryton Township, the daughter of Fred and Ruth (Sproston) Williams. She married George Pratt at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Muscatine, Iowa. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Carl Tambert, a college friend of George’s. George passed away Oct. 19, 1990.
She was a homemaker and worked for the bloodmobile for 13 years.
She was an active member of the church.
She enjoyed all sports. She was an avid golfer and was crowned Ladies Golf Champ at Oak View Country Club for two years. She also enjoyed a game of bridge. She and her partner won the YMCA Benefit Bridge Tournament.
Survivors include sisters, Leona Maynard, Letha Fisher, Pauline Riley and Dorothy Cooper, all of Aledo, Shirley Schultz, Silvis, and Patty Ryan, Metamora; and brothers, Richard, Willard and Leonard, all of Aledo, Melvin, of Arizona, and Everett, of Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three sisters.
