Mildred Virginia James Tripp, 95, of Tarboro died Thursday, July 23, 2009 in Jefferson.A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Edgecombe Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. Ed Conner officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro.Mrs. Tripp was born Sept. 12, 1913 in Pitt County, the daughter of the late John W. and Alice Moore James. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jack W. Tripp, and her brothers and sisters. She was a member of Johnson Memorial Presbyterian Church.She is survived by a son, Jimmy Tripp and his wife Daphne of Jefferson; a grandson, Jett Tripp and his wife Amy of Wendell; a granddaughter, Jerri Tripp of Greensboro; and great-grandsons Hunter Tripp of Whispering Pines and Zachary Tripp of Wendell.Arrangements by Carlisle Funeral Home.Paid o
