Miles was always a great host and always made you feel welcome. We enjoyed the times we were together and always had many great laughs in Ohio and Tennessee. He certainly loved and admired Kitty and told us she saved his life when he was ill. Sympathy to the family and friends of Miles.

Miles & I had marinas on Norris Lake. We became friends in 1992.
He was a jokester. He used to say we slept together because we shared a room together at the Cincinnati Boat Show. We both became members of the "Turtle" Club. If you asked someone if they were a turtle & they didn´t say "bet your sweet a** I am" they had to buy you a drink of your choice...lots of fun & laughter!!!
Miles, Jan, Warren, Sharon, Otis, Joyce, Jim, Jane, Ann & myself traveled to Alaska in 2007 about 12,000 miles. We saw neat places, laughed a lot & ate really good food!!! We came back & remained friends. Miles will surely be missed by all of us & his dear friends. Rest in peace "Miles Owen".... Mike & Ann Stone

You will be missed Pap, you were a large part of the reason I went into law enforcement, and I hope you knew that. I'm three years into my career and any differences I have made or will make were thanks to you. Thank you for the stories and occasional shared drink.

Ole pap, they really just didn´t make em like you anymore.. as unique as they come for sure. You taught me a lot, really showed me how to act like a gentleman (most of the time lol). But you could always lighten the mood. Make someone smile in the worst of times. Thats whats hard to see leave.. such a genuine person all around. Im just glad you could finally reast peacefully. Until we meet again..
I love you pap

Miles was like a big brother. We did many things together especially doing body work on old cars and house projects. He was fun to be with.
