Miles John Purcell was a wonderful brother, father, husband, friend and lawyer. He made the world better by being part of it. Reopening this memorial gives us each yet another opportunity to celebrate and relive what a contribution Miles made to each of our lives and to our world.

Show me a group picture with Miles Purcell in it and I will show you people laughing. He was a peoples' person, wonderful, kind, gracious and loving. We have a better world for his having been in it. We love you, buddy. Sail on!!!

so sorry for your loss. we heard about his passing after we got back from stacy's after Christmas.we always liked miles,he could make us laugh so hard. when he laughed, it seemed to come straight from his heart. he will surely be missed.

My deepest sympathy to all those who loved Miles. I knew Miles since 1968 as a new lawyer in Bay City. Miles came to Bay City often. It was my privilege to see Miles in my court when I served as a District Judge. Miles was friendly, always prepared and had a great sense of humor. We had many wonderful conversations in my chambers and in Court. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

Miles was such a delight to race against at Bay City Yacht Clu..may this candle guide you on your way dear Miles...
