Sorry, I have to add my fondest memory. It was my dad´s 70th birthday party in Atlanta, at the house. "Bubby", we as family call him Bubb ! Came down from MIN., along with all his siblings and family to celebrate. Cannot disclose details, but I have ALL the photos. Just imagine 4 days of family fun... Shhh, alcohol included. Those conversations and memories can never be replaced !

I don´t have one specific memory that stands out. All of them that I remember of Bubby are instrumental and beautiful. From the first I met Bubby as a 9yr old child to the last time I gave him a hug at my wedding, his beautiful smile and love would always uplift and strengthen my spirit. Bubby was like a father to me and I wouldn´t be the man that I am today if it wasn´t for him. I am reminded daily of how influential he was in my life and I am grateful to God that Bubby was put in my life. He was a inspirational treasure and truly a blessing!

My memories are life long, too much to express in writing. Most admirable mentor in my life to be honest. He was more a brother than anything !

I had the opportunity to attend a Monessen High School football game while visiting my hometown. Bubby put on an outstanding athletic performance, scoring several touchdowns. Years later I ran into him in St Louis where I live. He was a kind and gracious man.

I personally had the opportunity to work with Mr. Milfred Holmes in Hennepin County Child Protection. Prior to COVID, Milfred and few of us child Protection workers would sit together and consulted on cases. I remembered his smile and friendliness towards us. Milfred was so humble and always willing to help us. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May his soul rest in Power! Sleep on my brother!

When I transferred to MHS from Mon Valley Catholic I was worried about making new friends and fitting in. Football games were a highlight and looked forward to by many of us. Bubby didn´t know me at the time but whenever I congratulated the team and him for a great game he was always, always appreciative. He treated everyone e as if they were his best friend.
Always caring, always humble, always grateful, and oh so friendly.
His accomplishments are many and they ate well deserved but the gift he left all of us to cherish is his wonderful compassion for anyone he met. He took a real interest in people. May he rest in eternal peace.
My sympathy and prayers go out to his family, friends, and all who love Bubby.
