Mr. Diaz was a perfect example of what a teacher should be. He loved children, he loved learning and he saw kids beyond their behaviors looking for the best in them all! My children are better people for having known him and having him for a mentor. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Darlene and Family;
It was with a great sense of loss when I heard of Dinks death. I wanted to let you know that my heart is truly saddened.
Dink was more than just a wonderful person; He was always so kind and considerate to us that we always welcomed seeing Him and you guys at every opportunity. I often recall one very cold winter when He invited my family over to your home and you introduced us to eggs in the hole;. That was a wonderful act of kindness which we'll never forget, and which demonstrates the type of person that Dink was.
His passing will not only leave a void in our lives, but in the hearts of all those who knew him. Dink will always remain within my heart

Darlene and family. You are in my prayers. God be with you in your time of need. May he lay his hand on you and touch your lives. I just thought the world of Dink. He is rejoicing now with my Dad (Buzzy) and the Lord. May you find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. God bless you.
