Grandpa never thought he'd live past fifty--that he'd leave this world too soon the way his father had. Instead, Phoebe and Audrey had a great grandfather well into their 20s, I had a grandfather into MY fifties and Jon got to experience having a grandfather for the very first time. Grandpa was always there for us and we will all miss him greatly. RIP
