Milton A. "Mickey" Taylor, 66, of Royersford Milton A. "Mickey" Taylor, 66, of Royersford, formerly of Lansdale and Philadelphia, died November, 14, 2010, in his home. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie E. (Moroz) Taylor. Born in Philadelphia he was a son of the late Robert Mackie and Anna Taylor. He received his BS in Social Work from Temple University. A supervisor, he worked 25 years for Montgomery County as an Adult Probation and Parole Officer retiring in 2008. He was also a licensed Master Captain. He was a member of the Montgomery County Fraternal Order of Police, the Cape May Marlin and Tuna Club and the Recreational Fishing Alliance. Surviving with his wife, Margie, are children, Renee Taylor, Denver, CO; Milton A. Taylor Jr. and Melissa Taylor, both of Philadelphia; Timothy Lavin and his wife, Cheryl, Willingboro, NJ; Donna Lavin, Schaumburg, IL; Diane Gansho and her husband, Rodney, Chicago, IL, and Kathy Gallagher, Willingboro, NJ. Also surviving are his grandchildren, great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Taylor of Morton, PA, and Jerome Mackie of Philadelphia; two sisters, Barbara Woods and Bea Footman, and his former wife, Evelyn Taylor, all of Philadelphia. At Mickey's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, those planning expressions of sympathy, may send donations to Marjorie Taylor, c/o P. O. Box 234, Royersford, PA 19468 to help with his medical expenses. Huff & Lakjer, Lansdale.

My wife & I meet Mickey thru a friend Joey Lasorda and had the wounderful opportunity to meet Mickey and fish with him, which was a great passion of his, in Cape Hatteras NC. Mickey was a wounderfule person and it hwas an honor to spend time with him. Our prayer to the family.
