Ms. Minnie M. Locklear, 72, went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2011 at Bay Medical Center.

Ms. Locklear was born on January 3, 1939 to the Late Clinton and Zula Frazier. Ms. Locklear acceepted Christ as Lord at an Early age and was a Member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities. She Graduated with the class of 1957 at Rosenwald High School. She was preceded in death by her husband Timothy Locklear and as a result of this union two sons were born. She leaves a loving and dedicated family to cherish her memory.

Visitation for Ms. Locklear will be held today at Russell Allen Wright, Sr. Mortuary. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church 1021 Martin L. King, Jr., Blvd with The Rev. Delwynn G. Williams, Senior Pastor/Teacher/Officiating and The Rev. Darryl D. Stanley, Senior Pastor/Teacher of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church giving the Eulogy. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.

Tim,Tanya and Kinzell, back in P.C. and was enquiring about my dear friend,your Mom Minnie, and realized that January had past and we always spoke on her birthday to find out that Minnie had gone to be with the Lord. I have been praying for you all ever since then and I am sure that one good day we will all meet in heaven.
