Miriam Chacon

Miriam Chacon passed away on July 23, 2018 at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her parents, Calixto and Romana Chacon and three of her siblings; Ernestina Medina, Manuela Chacon and Calixto Chacon and her nephew Raul Chacon. She is survived by three of her siblings; Hector Chacon (Nancy), Gloria Gutierrez (Cesar) and Miguel Chacon (Georgina). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; Martha LeBlanc (Art), Jorge Gutierrez, Miguel Chacon Jr., Raul Medina, Gustavo Medina, Javier Chacon, Mario Bertrand, Leslie Chacon, Iris Chacon, Ondina Chacon, Karla Castillo, Mirna Bertrand, Federico Chacon, Steven Chacon, Alina Chacon, Hector Chacon, Lisara Howard and Jessica McClendon. She also leaves behind her Godson Blake Garcia and a host of family members and friends. Miriam was born in La Ceiba, Honduras and later moved to the United States. She enjoyed life to the fullest at every chance she had. She had the gift of being able to make friends wherever she went. Although Miriam did not have any children, she treated all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She loved cooking for the family and most importantly spending time with them. Miriam's generous personality will be missed by all of those who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veteran Memorial Blvd., on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 1:00PM.
