I can remember being a child and just looking up to Mother Flippin in aw! She was a very tremendous woman and was always the same when I seen her! My most memorable moment is when she would sing and play the organ! It would get so good that she'd end up dancing up and down the aisle; we'd always have a time when Liberty would come to GR! My thoughts and prayers are with the family!

Aunt Miriam, is NOW enjoying the reward, to be absent from the body, to be present with the Lord ! glory. The family did a wonderful homegoing. This great Women of God was destine to touch others and create change through her music, her ministry and mission. The Floyd family was brought up, under the word of God. Each child was gifted to serve the Kingdom and do the work of Jesus. This mantle has been passed down, and we must grab hold and run & change lives also.

Aunt Miriam was a lovely Christian woman, with a kind heart. She and I kept in contact through letter writing, I still have all of her letters, just like I kept my mothers, her sister. I will really miss her!

Mother Flippin was just a wonderful woman. I remember when I was younger, my three brothers and I would go by her house and she would teach us songs to sing in church. I share this story to illustrate how Mother tried to work with everyone! It seems as if she had 48 hours in her day instead of 24 hours like the rest of us! She was truly amazing! She has always incouraged me in school and she would always say to me " Im going to read about you in the paper one day"...Well now she'll have a better view from heaven.

I remember Aunt Miriam (my mom's sister) as a Godly woman who loved her family with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed and her spirit will live on through those that knew and loved her. She has left loved ones behind, but she is now with the One who loves her most. May the good memories stay with you always. Trust God and keep the faith! Be Blessed!!

Mother Flippin will always be in my heart and memories. My family worshipped with the Flippins at the inception of Liberty COGIC. Mother was very close to my mom and dad, the late J.C. and Thelma Crawley. Our families were as one and will always be united by our mutual love and respect for this truly great lady. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family. We loved her dearly, but God loved her best. She and Elder Flippin are once again united and I truly believe they are with the Lord in a much better place. Love always, Vervon Crawley and family of Oakland, California.

Mother Flippins was always a Jewel to us all. My favorite song that she would sing in the wonderful spirit of God was My Living will not be in vein. Sure enough she lived every day speaking and singing of God. May the family continue to trust God and carry on as Mo. Flippins would want you all too do. From the Ruthie, Travis, and Trina Robinson Family.

Mo. Miriam Flippin was the wisest woman I ever known who lived a holy & sanctified life. Seeing that her son, Bishop Floyd Flippin, is like a dad to me, she was like the grandmother I never had. She was truly a blessing in my life. I will never forget how she song & played for Jesus and the anointing that was upon her life. She will be greatly missed but she's definitely in a better place. My prayers go out to my Bishop & Shepherdess Flippin of G.R., MI and all of her family members on every side. May the God of peace comfort you & bless you all in your time of bereavement.

My fondest memories of Mother Flippen are the days of just watching her play the piano and sing. The anointing of God would fall in the room every time, and it would bless each listener. My prayers are with the family during this time of transition.
