Mitchell Hoover Obituary
Age: 41
September 1, 1982 - July 2, 2024
Beloved son and brother, Mitch was a talented artist and photographer, winning a competition at Tarrant County College with his work. He enjoyed playing the piano and started college with a music scholarship at Jacksonville College before switching to art. He enjoyed the lake; wakeboarding and kayaking. He held a variety of jobs from working at FedEX, to gathering bonsai trees from New Mexico, and data collection at Small Hands, Big Hearts Pediatric Therapy. His winning smile and kindness will be remembered as he struggled with mental illness. He enjoyed animals and his pets. He is survived by his parents, Parker and Betts Hoover, his brother Ryan Hoover and Rosie Hoover, as well as nephews and nieces. A memorial gathering will be held at 920 Kimbrough Rd Azle, TX 76020 on August 3rd at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to your local mental health associations or mental health research.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I would have attended the memorial had I known about it. Parker, you were such a good influence for me as a young man while I was working for you and Jim. And Betts, it was always great when you showed up at our work location (always in the boonies) because you were always so kind. Again, I am so sorry for your loss and I hope you can see your way to have brighter days ahead-

I remember that Mitch´s cousin Cole would always give a hug to Mitch when he saw him. Mitch might have been in a lot of depression but Cole always saw that Mitch was really full of Love but didn´t always know how to express it.

Mitchel told me that he had received Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He had a smile on his face when he told me. I wish I had followed up with him and helped him with his journey into learning how to renew his Mind, Will, and Emotions to this new life in Christ Jesus.
