Mitchell McCain Obituary
Mitchell Scott McCain,48, born December 19, 1974, in Georgetown, Tx. He passed away on Monday January 30, 2023, outside Raton NM.
Mitch graduated from Menard High School in 1993 where he played football and ran track. Upon graduation he attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX.
Mitch had the opportunity to work for several oil field companies in several states and in the Middle East. But his favorite was working alongside his lifelong friend, Jud Kothmann. Mitch was an avid outdoorsman. He loved wildlife and nature, arrowhead hunting, and especially camping in Langtry, TX with his friends and family. He enjoyed cooking and baking especially in Dutch ovens around a campfire with his cousin Zax. In 2012, Mitch married the love of his life, Yesicca Arreolla and eventually made their home in Raton, NM.
Mitch is preceded in death by his father Jack “Pappy” McCain. He is survived by his loving wife Yesicca Arreola, Mother Jo Carolyn McCain, Brothers Cone McCain and wife Lashawn, Bruce McCain and wife Melissa, and Russell Musgrove and wife Anita. Sons Dackota Scott McCain and Michael Jud McCain. Daughters Elyssa and Dayanara. Mitch was blessed with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, Jud Kothmann, and the wonderful family he was blessed to marry into.
Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements for Mitchell Scott McCain are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
