My path crossed with Mitch through classes together in the Mercer island school system and at a few reunions since then. He was always very genuine and focused in his conversations with me and fellow school mates. Peace be with his friends.

Only just started to get to know you late. Be at peace, your cousin Greg.

Miss ya. We only started catching up on lives separated and had so much more to share. Love ya big brother.

I met Mitch in the Mercer Island School system. Have some fond memories. I believe we did play a few musical tunes together. Farewell my friend. Doug Kammerer

Mitch Monday

I met Mitch through my best friend, Ryan Bemis, around 1992. My first impression was, "This guy´s strict!" But as I got to know him over the years, I came to understand that the structure Mitch lived by wasn´t just for show-it was something he relied on to keep moving forward.

We actually talked about this one night at his cabin. I came from a background with very little structure and needed discipline in my life. Mitch, being the smart and insightful guy he was, picked up on that early. He told me he understood where I came from and reminded me that I didn´t have to be a product of my environment. That conversation has always stuck with me.

Yes, Mitch could be strict-but it came from a good place. I truly believe he wanted nothing but the best for everyone around him.

I haven´t seen Mitch in a couple of years now, and it saddens me deeply. My heart goes out to his family-Mark, Debbie, Ryan, and Dillon. I´m so sorry for your loss.

God Bless
