I guess you could call us acquaintances; we met in the ER of the Jordan hospital in July, 1972. I was a 12-year-old Boy Scout attending summer camp, and was brought in with what turned out to be a lacerated liver. Dr. al-Chokhachy saved my life, and I never had the opportunity to express my gratitude. Hopefully my story will brighten someone's day and maybe even awaken other enjoyable moments too long unremembered.
