Ohio to Designate June 11 as 'Mojo Nixon Day' in Honor of Late Rock Artist. "Mojo would've loved the idea he was one of few things Democrats and Republicans could agree on," said Nixon's longtime manager in a statement.

Hearing him for the first time on Imus in the Morning on WFAN in NYC, he made Imus and me laugh so hard, I spilled my cereal and inhaled milk thru my nose. Thanks, Mojo!

Mojo was a legend, hero, and all around fantastic human being. His image was exactly who he was: a life loving, hell raising good ol boy
with a heart of gold. We were lucky to have shared many conversations with him over the years, always over his signature gin and tonic. We are Tar Heels and thus shared a special bond. We will miss him in so many ways. RIP our friend

I met Mojo and his lovely wife Adair on the Outlaw Country Cruise in 2023. They both were so friendly and Adair took me under her wing at the Autograph Session. I´m sending my love and condolensences to his family. A good man gone too soon.

I had heard a few of his songs, but really got into him after buying the video game, "Redneck Rampage" for my son. Decent game, with great music. Turned me on to Mojo, The Beat Farmers and Country Dick, The Reverend Horton Heat, and a band I was never able to find much about called Cement Pond. When I found out later that Mojo was on Outlaw Country, I had to subscribe. Opened up a whole new world of music. Always wanted to go out the Outlaw Cruise to meet him and some of the other artists. RIP Mojo, you will Never Die!
