Sorry that we did not enter our entry right because it did not include our names. Our entry was:

Mona was an unpaid volunteer that ran the Monday night bridge game at Minnetonka Senior Center. She was such a great leader that our bridge group really bonded and 25 us including Mona’s daughter, Janet, and a few friends that did not play bridge, went to Spain together in January of 1999. Some of us stayed three weeks – some stayed four weeks.

We had wonderful conversations and fun with Mona through the years. She was intelligent, cheerful. a good listener, and always had a good word to say about everyone. We will all miss our friend, Mona. Our thoughts will be of her kindness, good nature, and wonderful smile.

How many memories I have of happy days with Mona as we worked together at Golden Valley Health Center. I also think of all the good times we had at her house, she was always ready for a party and we had many at her place. I am so glad we were able to have lunch with her a while back and remember some of our good times. My condolences to you all as we remember a very special lady.

Terribly sorry to hear of Mona's passing, and of the loss to your family. The only thing we can hope for upon our life's end, is that we be remembered with love by those that we loved - and Mona will be. She'll also be remembered by our heavenly Father - the faithful man Job expressed his confidence in the love God has for his earthly children when he said to God: “O . . . that you would set a time limit for me and remember me!” (Job 14:13) ). Mona will remain in God's memory until that time when He will 'calls all those in the memorial tombs to a resurrection of life' (John 5:28,29). You all take care.
