I just learned of the passing of a friend and fellow lover of sea, ships and Morse code. Mona was stationed at NOJ, Kodiak, Alaska. I was involved in the Prinsendam rescue which she proudly spoke about publicly as it was one of the greatest USCG rescues ever and Kodiak, NOJ was a prominent part of that rescue. 73 Mona, we all love you. God bless and keep you well. It's sad that God wants all his most precious flowers so quickly. We miss you greatly, dear Mona.

Had the pleasure of knowing Mona and having her as a co-worker for a few years. She was a great person and fun to be with, and always very pleasant. She was also a great Project Mgmt Professional (PMP) and encouraged me to complete my courses as well. I did!! God Bless Her and wish the rest of her family patience as they get through this difficult time. RIP Mona. I always remember you as I drive through your old town on my way to Point of Rocks Creamery.

To Mona's family I send my deepest condolences to you on her passing. I remember Mona from school and we played softball together at East Glen Park. God's blessings to you at this most difficult time.
