In memory of
Rick LaRose

What a special lady, always looking out for everyone else. Even when we were down to visit this spring she was more concerned about us having a nice touristy time then with her own issues. Going shopping at the mall outside of San Diego she was still showing us around we hope made her forget and enjoy the day. Miss her big time. Rick & Marilyn

Monica, inspite of the very few occasions weve met, youve touched my life in many ways. You did not allow your sickness to dominate your life. You remained beautiful, radiant in your smiles, and did not stop appreciating the beauty of nature around you like your garden. I thank God for being introduced to a very loving person like you were. I wish we had the chance to make travel memories together, but in Gods time we will continue where we left off. You will be missed forever. Thank you for allowing Reagan in Liz life like your own.

My first memory of cousin Monica was upon her return to Canada with her great buddies Mona, Pam and Cindy in the mid 1960's. It was the coolest thing EVER because they were from CALIFORNIA, USA! They stayed with us on our dairy farm in Hornby, Ontario and to an 11 year old farm girl they were exceptionally groovy. It wasn't till years later when Monica and I had the chance to meet again. We embarked on a tour of her families old stomping grounds in the Etobicoke area of Toronto. She went purely from memory as we drove up one street and down another looking for her house...and we found it! She was so overjoyed that she called her brother Bernard..."He won't answer" she declared but he did! And here we were chattering on about the old house and the church they used to attend. I'm shouting at Bernard excitedly as I hadn't heard his voice in over 40 years and Monica giving him the play by play of our adventures. Of course, we wouldn't be Talbot's if we didn't pay a visit to our ancestors residing in a remote country cemetery. What a day that was! A few years later I had the chance to hang out with her in San Diego as she graciously hosted me for a few days...getting the grand tour of the missions, SD harbour, her gorgeous garden and some wonderful, heart to heart talks. Monica was generous, kind and thoughtful truly, there aren't sufficient words to fully express who she was to so many. Monica will be profoundly missed but forever loved. Love and prayers

Mom, I miss you so very much. I know your with me and I feel you guiding me every step of the way. You were my best friend in the whole world. I am so honored to be your daughter and I love you with every breath that I take. You're my hero, my mother, and now my personal guardian angel. Some people may not know what this means, but MOM...I've got a "Bow" and it's all because of you. I will see you in heaven soon enough, but for now will live my life in your honor and continuing to listen for your voice and feel your arms wrapped around me. God Bless you Mommy and PS. Thank you for sending me by babies and the love of my life....I've never doubted for one moment that your prayers to God wouldn't be answered. I love you so much....

We always enjoyed visiting with Monica when her long time friend Sandy would visit San Diego. I appreciated her conversations about her grandchildren, trips and the young days of her relationship with Sandy. This wonderful faith filled woman showed through faith in God, how to accept the scary diagnosis of Cancer. It is hard to believe she has gone to be with the Heavenly Sphere. I know she is smiling and enjoying her new health and life with Jesusand other family members. She definitely had a big impact on my life. Thank you Monica
